Magdalena Kozielska-Reid

My name is Magdalena Kozielska-Reid. I’m a biologist and a certified behavioural consultant for cats, rabbits and dogs. My goal is to improve the lives of pets and their people.

I’m here to assist you with any questions or challenges related to your pet’s behaviour, focusing on the unique needs of both you and your pet. The well-being of the animal is central in my work, as it lays the foundation for effective long-term behavioural therapy and stressless pet-owner relationships. I use positive methods that emphasize understanding of and communication with your animal companion. Because of my broad expertise, I can effectively help when the problems concern interaction between animals of different species.

I have been interested in animal behaviour and cognition since childhood. I also shared my life with various animal species. After my PhD in evolutionary biology, I worked for some years as a researcher and lecturer. I also write a blog about animal behaviour, cognition and evolution. A few years ago, I decided to chanel my passion for animal behaviour into helping pets and their owners. I obtained certificates in behavioural therapy for rabbits, cats and dogs and I’m continuously developing my knowledge and skills by following courses and seminars, reading scientific literature and interacting with other professionals. I also help at local animal shelters.
